About the Role
Our Federal Government client is seeking multiple Senior Cyber Threat Analysts and Lead Cyber Threat Analysts to support critical cyber intelligence and threat analysis functions. This is a long-term contract role with an initial 12-month contract, plus two 12-month extension options, located across QLD, ACT, and VIC, with onsite working arrangements. Working arrangements will be subject to operational requirements.
As the selected candidate, you will:
* Prepare cyber threat intelligence briefs and reporting aligned to national security priorities
* Conduct research and analysis on cyber threat actors to provide situational awareness
* Analyse cyber threat event data and fuse it with all-source intelligence
* Identify emerging threats and recommend mitigation actions
* Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and supporting documentation
* Build and sustain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers
* Contribute to intelligence capability uplift and operational maturity
To be successful in this role you should have:
* Demonstrated experience in cyber threat intelligence, threat modelling, or threat assessments
* Proven experience creating and maintaining cyber security threat reports
* Strong knowledge of analytical tools and techniques used in cyber threat analysis
* Experience analysing cyber threat event data and intelligence sources
* A qualification in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, intelligence disciplines, or equivalent experience in areas such as penetration testing, network or host forensics, or intelligence analysis
It is desirable if you have:
* CREST Certified Network Intrusion Analyst (CCNIA) certification
* CREST Certified Malware Reverse Engineer (CCMRE) certification
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens and holds Negative Vetting Level 2 (NV2). Successful candidates will also be required to complete ASD's Organisational Suitability Assessment prior to commencement.
