Technical Delivery Manager – 12 Month Contract
Initial Term: 12 months with up to 2 × 12-month extensions
Clearance: Must have current NV2 clearance
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead / Delivery Manager to take ownership of managed ICT services in a large and complex enterprise environment.
The role requires a blend of technical expertise and delivery management, ensuring ICT services are delivered consistently, meet performance expectations, and align with organisational objectives. You will act as the key liaison between vendors and internal technical teams, leading service transitions, overseeing contracts, and maintaining strong stakeholder engagement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of managed ICT services across the enterprise.
- Review and renew contracts, including preparing Statements of Requirements for new services (e.g. Windows 11 MOE, application packaging support).
- Lead technical transitions for recent services and providers, ensuring readiness and successful handover.
- Monitor service delivery against SLAs and KPIs, driving continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring clear communication at all levels.
- Maintain accurate documentation, escalation processes, and service roadmaps.
Skills & Experience
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proven experience in delivery management or service delivery roles.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building experience.
- Technical expertise across: Cloud platforms (Entra ID, Intune), Microsoft stack (M365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange), Security tools (MDM, Sophos, Defender, Tenable), PowerShell scripting, MSI/MSIX packaging, SOE deployment
- 10+ years in technical roles with delivery or service management responsibilities.
- Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
