This role is key to ensure continuity of ITO assistance to the sector and can be based from any major Australian city (Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne or Perth.)Job ResponsibilitiesDeveloping business relationships with existing and new customersManaging the end user sales activity for the territory including development and implementation of sales strategyPreparing and delivering on business sales plans, forecasts, sales campaigns and travel budgetsPromoting & Championing the brand of ‘OneEthos’Identifying and pursuing appropriate business opportunitiesGrowing the business by identifying new opportunities and routes to market for EthosEnergy products and servicesProviding market intelligence on opportunities, trends, price levels, competitors, etcMaintaining and developing regional agency agreementsIdentify and assist the development of preferred suppliers and subcontractor agreements within the region involving technical services, workshops and local labor poolsEffective negotiation and securing orders for parts and services through effective internal liaison with tendering, technical assistance and commercial teams, etcMinimizing the Company’s exposure to liabilities and maximizing any opportunities to enhance profitabilityProvide assistance with handling of orders for the region including debt collection activitiesUtilizing and updating the Company’s ’CRM’ system (SalesForce) as required during the course of executing the defined responsibilitiesEnsuring that all applicable Company Standing Instructions, including those relating to Health and Safety, are personally complied withRequired Skills / KnowledgeFamiliarity with CRM softwareIn-depth knowledge of working the O&G and Power sectorKnowledge of GE Gas TurbinesSelf-starter with confidence in decision making skillsExcellent Sales & negotiating skillsExperience5 years experience selling rotating machinery in AustraliaExtensive B2B sales experienceExtensive technical sales applications experience within the Utilities, IPP, Industrial or Oil & Gas environment(s)Education RequirementsA four-year BS degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or commensurate market experience is preferred as well as a demonstrated track record of successful goal achievement. An MSc degree is advantageousPhysical RequirementsThe role will require both domestic and international travel (approx. 30% - 50%)The ability to travel internationally is required. Candidate must hold, or be able to obtain, a valid passport and have a clear background to obtain a work visa in the various countries where we will conduct business.Currently residing in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne or Perth.EthosEnergy is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
