Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maximising book sales across a selection of our Booksellers. You will develop and manage relationships with customers, meet agreed sales budgets and maximise sales through collaborative promotional activity.Key responsibilities include:Increase sales and maximise all opportunitiesManage the sales process from presentation of sales materials to processing and tracking of ordersIdentify market and promotional opportunities within each accountConnect marketing campaigns to promotional activity to drive salesReport preparation – both written and verbalAttending author events as requiredTo be successful in this role you will have:A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or a related fieldA minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in salesExperience using feedback and data analysis to make informed and strategic decisionsProven ability to think and work analyticallyExcellent attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalIn addition, you will be a book loving opportunist and a champion of process and operational improvements with the goal of best sales outcomes.
