Drayton Manor Park Limited is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer & Fitter to ensure our rides operate safely and smoothly.
* Routine maintenance of ride systems including tracks, vehicles, motors, brakes, hydraulics, pneumatics, sensors, and safety systems is essential for ensuring smooth rides.
* Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs to guarantee all mechanical and control systems meet OEM standards.
* Routine overhauls during scheduled maintenance are necessary to keep every ride in peak performance condition.
* Test safety systems, emergency stops, and sensors to ensure a thrilling guest experience.
* Collaborate with electrical engineers, safety teams, and vendors to maintain and upgrade rides.
* Training and mentoring of apprentice engineers and fitters is crucial in sharing knowledge and passion for mechanical excellence.
