The Position
The Electrical Engineer will contribute to the development of innovative processing equipment, whilst playing a pivotal role in the development and design of automated processes.
Duties
* Work as part of a team to rapidly design, build and test prototypes of innovative manufacturing process equipment.
* Being "hands‐on" in all the electrical design, construction and testing activities.
* Implement, integrate, test, and debug complex power electronics components and systems.
* Design, predict, develop, and test electrical power and control systems for new manufacturing equipment, focusing on safety, efficiency, and reliability.
* Establish systems and procedures for the management of electrical engineering design data, in collaboration with the company's electrical and control system engineers at other sites.
* Assist in the development and implementation of control systems and control strategies for new manufacturing process equipment, simulating and testing to ensuring stability and reliability.
* Proto type and test high‐power systems, performing real‐time validation and field trials.
Required Experience
* Experience in electrical design, construction, testing and manufacturing.
* Experience with electrical software system design, programming, coding, testing and operation.
* Post‐graduate degree or advanced qualifications in Electrical Engineering
* Experience with artificial intelligence / machine learning for intelligent control.
* Experience in the new energy industry, manufacturing or research & development.
* Functional Safety qualifications (i.e. TUV Certified Engineer).
* At least 5+ years of electrical engineering experience within a manufacturing setting.
