About the Role
Unit 8A provides 24-hour inpatient sub-acute and non-acute care for patients, where the principal intent of the continuing inpatient stay is on functional improvement, support or prevention of deterioration in their functional and health status with a focus on patients requiring rehabilitation, early intervention for eating disorder and for children with general medical conditions.
The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) is accountable at an advanced practice level for leading and coordinating the Inpatient Unit to achieve best practice standards for clinical practice, patient centred care within a Healthcare team and is responsible for the provision of effective and efficient human, material and financial resource management.
