About the Role
As an Emergency Department Consultant, you will : Provide clinical services of the highest standard in the Emergency Department across a 24 / 7 roster Work with limited or no direction, exercising a high degree of professional judgment and clinical competence in a multi-disciplinary setting Take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day management of the clinical floor Respond to hospital MET / Code Blue / Code Black calls as required by allocation on shift Provide supervision, training, and direction to more junior staff as needed Participate in teaching and quality assurance activities, while also engaging in health promotion and community education initiatives If you are an experienced Emergency Department Consultant with a passion for patient care, leadership, and teaching, we would love to hear from you.
What We\'re Looking For
Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
Must hold a specialist qualification with the following colleges - RACGP, ACRRM and ACEM and be registrable as a specialist with AHPRA Granted specialist registration by the medical board for relevant specialty e.g. G / P, ACEM.
