Financial accountant - asx listed - suits first mover

This established listed Australian group is looking for an ambitious, technically competent CA qualified Accountant to join their Group Finance function.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Group FC, your responsibilities will include:

• Group-level monthly management reporting
• Financial statements and board reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Trial balance analysis/commentaries
• Indirect taxes (payroll tax, GST)
• Treasury accounting
• Complex bank reconciliations
• Fixed assets management
• Inter-company accounting
• Playing a key role in the half and year-end audit process

You will also be involved in internal business improvement projects, systems projects, and other ad hoc pieces of work, as well as providing technical accounting advice to divisional stakeholders.

About you

You are a qualified CA, with 0-3 years' post-qualified experience, seeking your 1st move out of Big 4 or mid-tier firm, or coming from within a large, complex corporate environment, in a similar group accounting capacity.

You'll have sound, up-to-date knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, while excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
