The role of a Category Manager/ Buyer is to deliver sales through sourcing an exciting range and mix of product that makes for compelling viewing, and is in line with the category strategy and customer profile to maximise revenues and ensure budgets are met. The category manager will strategically plan the area to maximise programming, web and catalogue opportunities within budgeted.
The Category Manager is responsible for Revenue, GP%, GP$$, Productivity, Inventory and GMROI and the management of the OTB of the nominated category.
This position works within the Merchandise Team and liaises and interacts with various other internal partners as well as external partners to ensure the success of the category.
