Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Aboriginal Mental Health Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team. As part of this role, you will provide recovery-focused, person-centered services to individuals with mental illness, distress, and risk issues.
* Your primary focus will be on assessment, care coordination, intervention, liaison, advocacy, and review for both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people referred to the service.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
* A strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, with established links to the local community.
* Tertiary qualifications in Health Science (Mental Health), or relevant registration with AHPRA (Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists) or Australian Association of Social Workers (Social Workers).
* Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality, safe, and connected care to consumers and their families/carer in a person-centered and holistic manner.
* Excellent communication skills to engage and collaborate with consumers, their families/carers, and other stakeholders.
* High-level computer skills, including accuracy and knowledge of Electronic Medical Record Programs, Microsoft Office, and Skype for Business.
