Banquet Manager Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Coordination
* Plan, organize, and supervise banquet events such as weddings, conferences, parties, and corporate meetings
* Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements and preferences
* Prepare event schedules, layouts, and service plans
Food & Beverage Operations
* Work closely with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely food preparation and service
* Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion standards
* Ensure smooth coordination between banquet staff and kitchen
Team Management
* Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise banquet staff
* Assign duties and ensure high service standards during events
* Motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service
Budgeting & Cost Control
* Manage event budgets and control operational costs
* Monitor inventory, supplies, and equipment usage
* Reduce wastage and ensure efficient resource utilization
Safety & Compliance
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
* Conduct safety checks of banquet halls and equipment
