Maritime Security Guards/ Gatehouse Administration Officers – Port of Gladstone
About the Role
Diamond Protection are seeking Maritime Security Guards (MSGs) to operate in busy gatehouse environments on a full-time basis. MSGs are responsible for administrative duties, controlling access to site, monitoring site perimeters and restricted areas for breaches using CCTV monitoring systems, processing crew movements, issuing assets to authorised personnel, reporting, managing visitors and temporary access card holders.

About You
We are looking for MSGs who conduct themselves professionally, with exceptional customer service and good computer skills. Experience with Access Control Systems and CCTV monitoring systems would be an advantage, but is not a mandatory requirement. You will have good attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Skills and experience we are looking for:
* Level 4 quality of guards;
* Mine/industrial site security experience in a busy security/control room environment;
* Comfortable with administrative tasks;
Successful candidates will require the following qualifications. If you do not hold the below qualifications, assistance may be provided where needed.
* Class 1 QLD Security License (minimum Certificate II in Security Operations)
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Current CPR Certificate
* Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) - Diamond may assist in obtaining the MSIC
Remuneration:
* Successful Candidates will be paid well over the security services industry award
