Job Description:
As the Workforce Planner, you will play a pivotal role in our operational scheduling. Your primary responsibility will be to create and manage fair, effective rosters that align with production needs and ensure compliance with regulatory and award requirements. This is an essential role in ensuring we have the right people with the right skills in the right place, making a tangible impact on our day-to-day business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and publish clear, compliant rosters in line with operational requirements, company policies, and relevant awards.
* Be the go-to expert for our workforce management system, providing hands-on training and support to team leaders and employees.
* Manage changes to work schedules and employee leave requests in close collaboration with department leaders and People Operations.
* Monitor critical metrics like overtime and student visa hours, proactively flagging changes to management.
* Prepare detailed and meaningful workforce reports to help assigned departments make informed decisions.
* Partner with department leaders to quickly identify and fill labour or skill gaps in teams.
* Assist with recruitment activities in line with operational requirements.
Requirements:
* Proven experience administering a workforce management or time & attendance system.
* An exceptional communicator - both written and verbal.
* An analytical mind with excellent problem-solving ability and a keen eye for compliance and detail.
* Naturally high levels of resilience, a professional work ethic, and an approachable, energetic, and flexible attitude.
* Intermediate skill level in Excel or Google Sheets, with a good technical aptitude for other software and computer systems.

Other Information:
This is a permanent full-time role requiring the right to work full-time in Australia. The successful candidate must be available to work a rotating roster (day and afternoon shifts) and alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday), as our site operates 7 days a week.
