The Position
* Lead all kitchen operations for breakfast, crib & dinner service providing a buffet style service
* Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation
* Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, mentoring & training of staff
* Ensure contract compliance is met through an understanding of the scope of work required
* Actively maintain a high standard of food safety, allergen awareness, and OHS
* Enhance workplace culture – display high levels of customer service, contribute ideas & be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
* Manage day to day operations of the site for your second week
The Person
* Previous leadership experience at Senior Chef or Catering Manager level
* Minimum Cert III Commercial Cookery
* Ability to complete a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug screen
* Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
* Excellent communication & leadership skills
* Excellent computer skills
* Strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to lead and mentor teams in all areas
