In this key role, you’ll provide trusted legal advice and support across a broad range of technology-related commercial transactions, while contributing to innovative solutions and shaping the future of client contracting. What you’ll do: Provide expert legal advice on technology contracting matters, including software licensing, cloud services, digital products, and other technology transactions with our clients and PwC Network firms globally. Draft, review, and negotiate complex client contracts—such as engagement letters, master service agreements, statements of work, global framework agreements, secondment agreements, and non-disclosure agreements—ensuring clear, concise, and commercially sensible outcomes. Assess and articulate legal risks related to technology agreements, advising stakeholders to make informed, risk-based business decisions. Monitor and interpret legal and regulatory developments affecting technology and commercial contracting; develop innovative, flexible solutions to business problems. Collaborate with internal teams at all levels, including PwC’s risk and compliance groups, to ensure alignment with organisational policies and risk frameworks. Mentor and support junior lawyers and team members, providing guidance, reviewing work, and fostering professional development. Lead or contribute to initiatives that enhance practice innovation and digitization within the legal team. Deliver training and presentations to stakeholders, elevating understanding of legal risks and contractual best practices. What we’re looking for: A minimum of 6 years' post-qualification experience, with a robust background in technology contracting. Experience in private practice and/or in-house legal roles, particularly handling complex technology transactions. Proven ability to engage confidently with stakeholders, delivering clear and pragmatic legal advice in plain English. Strong technical expertise in technology-related commercial contracting and a commercial mindset to support business objectives. Demonstrated capability in managing multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, influence effectively, and work collaboratively across teams.
