Julie is Irwin Mitchell's Regional Head for the South and Head of the Bristol Medical Negligence team.
She is renowned for her deep expertise in complex and high-value clinical negligence claims, particularly those involving birth injuries, delayed diagnoses (including meningitis), fatal claims, and inquests.As a key member of the team, you'll play a vital role in supporting clients through some of the most challenging times in their lives.
You'll be involved in :Managing your own caseload, including litigated matters, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.Assisting senior colleagues on high-value and complex claims across a wide range of medical disciplines.Delivering consistently accurate and compassionate legal advice, ensuring clients feel supported and informed throughout their journey.Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to deliver a seamless and high-quality service.About YouWe're looking for someone who combines technical excellence with genuine empathy :3+ years PQE in Clinical Negligence, with a strong background in Claimant work.Proven experience managing your own caseload, including litigated claims.The ability to take instructions from clients and give sound legal advice.Demonstrable experience assisting seniors across high-value complex cases.The ability to operate independently and work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for our clients.You'll be joining a forward-thinking and supportive team that values compassion, excellence, and impact.
