Overview
We are representing the Australia and New Zealand offices of a global medical device manufacturer. Headquartered in the US, the organisation develops technically advanced products that support critical medical needs. In A/NZ, the business is around $50 million and the sector is growing. A current role has been created: Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A;) Manager for A/NZ. You will report to the Regional Finance Director (based in the UK) and be a crucial member of the local leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Provide proactive Finance Business Partner support to the management team, presenting results and driving business decisions and strategy.
- Lead the Annual Operating Plan, projections/forecasting, budgeting, and monthly performance reporting.
- Offer informed opinions and recommendations to drive the business, including portfolio choices, product launches and go-to-market strategies, pricing, and commercial decisions.
- Develop and manage critical KPIs to measure strategic objectives, especially demand and supply alignment.
- Collaborate with a Business Analyst to develop a reporting suite covering commercial performance (P&L;, variance commentary, product sales) and strategic advice; articulate and present findings to local and international leadership.
- Act as a Change Agent to lead process optimization and the best use of resources across the group.
- Provide leadership within the local senior team and contribute to local leadership discussions.
Qualifications
- CA/CPA qualified; ideally from a manufacturing or product background with strong understanding of the supply chain.
- Knowledge of analytical systems (e.g., Power BI).
- Demonstrated leadership, executive presence, and ability to partner with senior management to drive strategy and challenge where appropriate.
- Customer-focused mindset and a collaborative approach aligned with corporate values and continuous improvement.
