Oversee the facilities operations for a major retail asset.

Townsville Land of the Bindal and Wulgurukaba people.

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team onsite at Willows Shopping Centre. Reporting to the Centre Manager and supported by a network of property professionals, you will play a key role in overseeing the efficient, cost effective operation, maintenance, and ongoing development of services within this high‐profile centre.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage services providers including but not limited to essential fire safety systems, mechanical services, BMCS, condenser water systems, and hydraulic services.
* Manage operating expenditure and ensure efficient, sustainable and cost‐effective maintenance and operation of all plant and equipment.
* Manage capital works and tenancy fit outs as required.
* Carry out building inspections under the building's operating model and document findings.
* Deliver superior customer service and develop key tenant stakeholder engagement by providing effective and timely communications.

Qualifications & Experience

* Demonstrated experience in Facilities Management or Operations within a retail environment will be highly regarded.
* Ideally possess a trade background, project management experience or hold a degree in Facilities Management.
* Proven experience in managing services supporting critical environments.
* Proven experience in managing budgets and financial reporting.
* Experience with fit outs and redevelopments highly regarded.
* Strong time management skills with the flexibility to work autonomously across different sites.
* Strong customer service ethos and time management skills.
