This is a Claims Officer role with Suncorp Group based in Brisbane, QLD, AU Suncorp Group Role Seniority - mid level More about the Claims Officer role at Suncorp Group Position Overview Role: Claims Officer Remuneration: $83,400 package (inclusive of 12% super) Performance Based Bonus Role Type: 6 month contract Location: Brisbane What You’ll Do Making yourself available for and managing inbound and outbound customer, supplier and Broker calls relating to Commercial Non-Fleet, Corporate Fleet and Leasing claims Resolve customer / intermediary issues and complaints. Case management of claims in a proactive customer focused manor by managing a portfolio of claim activities Proactively keep customers, intermediaries and stakeholders fully informed of progress. Identification of suspected fraudulent claims, potential recoveries, and salvage opportunities Determine information required for claims, gather, and interpret information and make appropriate decisions. Extensive internal and external working relationships with Customers, Intermediaries, Peers, Suppliers, Professional Service Providers, Offshore Partners, Risk Managers, Claims Relationship Managers, Business Development Managers and Underwriting Teams What You’ll Bring A proven record of providing excellent customer service. Exceptional listening and communication skills in a high-volume call environment Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy. Understanding of, or the ability to acquire knowledge of: Commercial Insurance business, market and external environment & Insurance and financial industry principles and regulatory requirements.
