Personal Injury Legal Assistant/Paralegal/Secretary (CTP/Medical Neg/Public Liability)
This role acts as the right‐hand assistant to a Special Counsel with over 20 years of experience in personal injury law, supporting the management of clients who have suffered injuries from motor vehicle accidents (CTP) and, where applicable, medical negligence or public liability claims.
Responsibilities
* Engage with clients, contributing to a positive client experience.
* Type correspondence, forms and court documents accurately and efficiently.
* Liaise with solicitors, insurers and doctors to coordinate case activities.
* Arrange medical appointments and manage diaries.
* Prepare briefs for counsel and maintain file management systems.
* Assist with business enhancement and marketing projects.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2–20+ years of experience as a legal secretary, assistant or paralegal in personal injury law, with CTP experience required and medical negligence/public liability experience preferred.
* Strong practical knowledge of the NSW CTP claim life cycle from inception to settlement.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Proactive, deadline‐driven, and positive "can‐do" attitude.
* Desire to advance long‐term in a personal injury legal career.
