Exciting opportunity for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher in Bundaberg
Expect a Star is currently searching for a dedicated ECT for a 5-week block placement, available to commence as soon as possible. This is the perfect opportunity for a passionate teacher who is looking for flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact within a supportive early learning team.
The Role
In this role, you will:
* Enjoy Consistency – work in the same centre for the full block, building relationships with children and the team.
* Educate and care for children aged 0-5 in nurturing, play-based environments.
* Be a lifesaver for the permanent educators by helping covering lunch breaks, sick days and annual leave days
* Lead and support meaningful learning experiences for your assigned group of children
* Participate and support educators in the observation and recording of children's development
* Work collaboratively with fellow educators to develop and implement inspirational educational programs

What we're looking for:
* An Early Childhood Degree or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
* Relevant teachers' registration (if applicable)
* A Blue card for Paid Employment
* Food handling certificate
* Availability to commence immediately
* Minimum 2 days of availability per week
* Excellent communication skills
* Reliability and adaptability - ready to thrive in new environments and support different teams
