We now have a permanent full-time role based in Pymont, Sydney.
(38 hours per week, rotating shifts between 10am-9pm Monday-Friday with occasional weekend shifts)
What you'll do as a Graphic Artist:
The Graphic Artist supports the Video Graphics department by providing design services to the Network 10 newsroom and other divisions. You will liaise with Producers and Reporters to help communicate stories effectively. The role requires excellent communication, time management, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while producing high-quality graphics.
Key responsibilities include:
* Producing 2D/3D static and animated graphics based on requests from Producers and Reporters, ensuring deadlines are met with quality, accuracy, and visual appeal.
* Leading shifts by attending morning editorial meetings, managing daily workloads, liaising with Executive Producers, and quality-checking graphics.
* Training junior designers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Working on projects such as graphics packages, themed elements, and new templates.
* Providing general team administrative support as needed.
What we're looking for:
* Exceptional organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
* Professional communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
* Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Media Encoder) and Microsoft Office.
* Knowledge of Vizrt, 3D, and programming is an advantage.
* A fast learner with initiative, effective planning, multitasking ability, and openness to guidance.
