About The Role Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Shore Based Engineer assists with mechanical and electrical maintenance of vessels, pontoon, vehicles, tenders, and systems onboard.
Responsibilities include following scheduled maintenance, diagnosing system problems, maintaining logs, and ensuring safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities Diagnose system problems Maintain logs and complete work orders Follow SOPs, Marine Memos, and WHS requirements Perform scheduled maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and safety systems Maintain engines, hydraulic systems, generators, navigation, and ventilation systems Ensure compliance of emergency systems Fault finding and repairs About You Ideal candidates have a strong marine diesel engine background, thrive in fast-paced environments, and possess problem-solving skills.
You should be team-oriented, adaptable, and proactive in maintenance and safety.
