JDM Software is an established software development house based in Toowoomba. We specialize in custom software development and systems integration for small to medium enterprises in all types of industries.
You will be joining a team of 6 in-house software developers and play a crucial role in the development lifecycle of native applications developed for our clients.
What to expect
This is an excellent opportunity to join our team in a junior or mid-level developer role. We require commitment from you to develop your skills and hone your craft with support from our experienced team.
Your days will be varied but you can expect the following:
* Utilise development languages such as C#, VB, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for varied development tasks
* Manage incoming support requests from clients, including phone and email communication directly with clients
* To progressively learn and broaden development skills through training and support from our team
Who we're looking for
A tertiary education is preferred however the position is open to anyone with the skill set and experience we require. Your dedication, commitment and willingness to assist our team is of high importance.

Your skills and experience
Foremost we are looking for someone with the right attitude and communication skills. Our preference is someone with the following skills and experience:
* Knowledge and awareness of Object-Oriented development methodologies and web-based technologies including HTML, JS and CSS.
* Provide software development in a range of software platforms and languages
* Experience with SQL and database concepts
* Unit/Peer test self-developed code and peer-developed code
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* Provide ongoing client support
* Increase knowledge and programming skillset
* Present any new-found-concepts or ideas to the team intermittently
* Ability to take direction, listen and to work as part of a team
* High level of attention to detail and to take pride in all tasks undertaken
