About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experiencedEvent Producerwho thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to delivering exceptional events.

Key responsibilities
Support internal and external stakeholders for Council and local community events
Coordinate the delivery of Council's major event program and ancillary events
Manage all aspects of pre-production, production, and post-production requirements
Source appropriate participants for events
Ensure events reflect best practises in creativity, risk/safety, and community engagement
Supervise staff, volunteers, and contractors at events
Participate in post-event reviews and recommend improvements
Develop new events for the program on a one-off or ongoing basis
About the person
The successful candidate will have:
Degree in event management or equivalent industry experience
Proven experience in event production for indoor and outdoor events
Comprehensive understanding of legislative requirements for community events
Experience in implementing risk management strategies for events
Ability to coordinate multiple major community events simultaneously
Current "Class C" Driver's Licence

We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $91,988 to $105,786.
