About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Assistant to join our Physiotherapy Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day service provision to support patient care activities for inpatients and outpatients.
* Provide direct patient care under the indirect or direct supervision of physiotherapists, including assistance with interventions in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
* Routine testing of hydrotherapy pool chemical levels and water quality.
What You Will Need
* Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent.
* Experience in a patient care setting or assisting a healthcare professional.
* Physical strength, flexibility, and endurance sufficient for manual handling of patients and equipment.
* High levels of professionalism and effective communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
* Ability to prioritise tasks.
* Effective time management skills.
