This a Full-Time role: Monday to Friday, day time hours only, no on call and no weekends.ResponsibilitiesIn a typical day, you may: perform, communicate and record diagnostic procedures; interact with patients, provide patient instruction, and collect specimens for analysis while maintaining the sample integrity standard; perform venipuncture; operate, maintain and perform troubleshooting on all laboratory instruments to ensure their functioning.Accuracy, teamwork, and a patient-oriented approach will ensure your success in this role.QualificationsDiploma from a recognized Medical Laboratory Technology programCertificate of registration as a Medical Laboratory Technologist with the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) and have an active license with British Columbia Society of Laboratory Science (BCSLS)Certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider or equivalent such as Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation/Automated External Defibrillator (CPR/AED) Level C.Minimum of two years experience performing laboratory tests including, but not limited to, Haematology, Urinalysis, Chemistry, and PhlebotomyAdditional RequirementsYou will be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability levelCompensation:$41 - $46 hourly#LI-ST2#
