About the Legal Aid NT
Legal Aid NT is an independent statutory authority established under the Legal Aid Act 1990 (NT). Our purpose is to ensure that people in the Northern Territory understand their legal rights and disadvantaged people have access to quality legal services, and to uphold a fair Northern Territory and national justice system.
About the role
Under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer and in collaboration with the Human Resources Manager, provide administrative support to ensure the delivery of effective and efficient corporate services across Legal Aid NT.
About you
The successful applicant will demonstrate proactive problem‑solving skills, effective prioritisation, and the capacity to meet deadlines while delivering a diverse array of financial and human resources services.
You are an organised and motivated individual who is adaptable, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys a busy environment. You will have great stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to respond to and triage incoming queries and requests. Be able to work independently and collaboratively with people at all levels and from diverse backgrounds, including culturally and linguistically diverse and First Nations peoples.
