About The Role
Operating within the National School of Education, the Executive Assistant/Project Officer provides general administrative support to the School of Education within the Faculty of Education and Arts, principally supporting the National Head, School of Education.
The role involves managing a busy calendar, supporting committees by establishing agendas, taking minutes, and following up action items. It also includes managing the generic school inbox, triaging escalated issues, and supporting workflows associated with the Office of the Head/Deputy Head. The officer gathers, interprets and clarifies ACU Policies, Procedures and data to support national initiatives and ensures smooth, timely progression of work.
Responsibilities
* Manage the National Head's calendar and schedule meetings.
* Support committees: set agendas, record minutes, and track action items.
* Administer the school inbox and triage escalated matters.
* Assist in workflow management for Office of the Head/Deputy Head.
* Interpret and apply ACU Policies and procedures to support national initiatives.
Qualifications
* Relevant experience or qualification in administration or project support.
* Excellent organisational, communication and IT skills.
* Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
* Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
