Salary: $28.52 - $28.82 per hour + 25% Casual Loading, working over a 7‐day roster – WHA3.

The Home Support Worker is responsible for providing a timely, efficient and effective service that involves cleaning and shopping services to clients of Domiciliary Care, thereby promoting their independence at home and preventing premature and/or inappropriate admission to residential care facilities or long stay hospital beds. The Home Support Worker may also be required to undertake laundry duties.

• DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
• National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups (e.g., aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)

Category A – direct contact with blood or body substances.

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
