About the role
SCEE Electrical are looking for skilled and experienced Electrical Superintendents based in Launceston to join us on the construction of a large‐scale Data Centre, with DIDO and local roster options available. As a Superintendent your role is to coordinate and manage all on‐site activities, as well work with project teams to deliver a successful project on time and on budget with the desired level of quality.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensure all personnel maintain safe systems of work
* Plan activities in accordance with standards and to minimise inefficiencies
* Management of subcontractors
* Direct and coordinate the workforce for electrical requirements of the contract
* Understanding of risk management, quality assurance and control
* Participate in safety investigations, reporting and discussions
* Participate in quality assurance audits
* Liaise with client and contractor representatives
* Monitor relevant site instruction to ensure costs are captured and agreed to
About you
To be successful in this position you will have at least 5 years' experience as an Electrical Superintendent within the heavy construction industry and hold your TAS Electrical Practitioners Licence. You will have well developed leadership skills as well as strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following;
* A high level of commitment to safety
* Well‐developed leadership skills
* Sound negotiation and dispute resolution skills
* Experience with contractual compliance and stakeholder management
* Desire to continually improve
* Hold a construction white card
