Kingsley’s Chicken is seeking highly motivated and experienced Retail Supervisors to join their teams across multiple locations (14 positions available) in ACT & NSW.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food service, customer engagement, and operational excellence.
Successful applicants will work closely with the Retail Managers to ensure efficient day-to-day operations, maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction, and foster a supportive team workplace.
Applicants must have previous supervisory experience in a hands-on, fast-paced retail or quick-service food environment and be confident in team leadership, rostering, stock control, and achieving sales targets.
AQF Certificate III in Retail or Hospitality OR at least one year of relevant experience in a similar supervisory role
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of front-line staff, ensuring excellent customer service and team performance
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, product display standards, and store presentation
- Assist with daily opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and banking
- Ensure smooth store operations and compliance with food safety and health regulations
- Taking inventory of goods for sale and ordering new stock
- Ensuring that goods and services are correctly priced and displayed
- Ensuring safety and security procedures are enforced
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of new team members
- Support the Retail Manager in achieving financial targets and KPIs
- Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Contribute to staff rostering and shift planning
- Oversee preparation and serving of food in line with company standards
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures at all times
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the food or retail sector
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven ability to manage time, priorities, and customer needs effectively
- Competency in stock management and visual merchandising
- Financial understanding and ability to assist with store budgets and reporting
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and quality food
