Position description:
We are currently seeking a Farm Manager for our Lockyer Valley and Darling Downs region.
Tasks include but are not limited to supervision and management of:
* Planting and Irrigation of crops
* Tractor operation
* General farm duties
* Co-ordination of staff
Mandatory Requirements and Basic Experiences:
* Excellent work ethic and demonstrated commitment to WHS standards and procedures.
* Experience working on tractors, farm equipment and machinery.
* Current Manual Driver's license.
Valued Skills and Ideal Traits:
* Current Australian forklift ticket
* Current Medium Rigid (MR) / Heavy Rigid (HR) truck license would be handy.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Previous experience in the Agriculture/Horticulture industry would be highly regarded.
* Early morning starts and due to the nature of our business, ability to work extended hours and some weekends may be required.
