Paediatric Nursing Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our paediatric team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and their families.
About the Role
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering person-centered nursing care in collaboration with individual(s) and the multidisciplinary healthcare team. This will involve using best practice evidence to provide care that is tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
As a seasoned nurse, you will have the opportunity to supervise and support less experienced clinicians, helping them to develop their skills and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver person-centered nursing care using best practice evidence
* Supervise and support less experienced clinicians
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care
* Develop and implement individualized care plans
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
* Demonstrated competencies in and knowledge of the complexities and challenges involved in providing nursing care in a multidisciplinary team
* Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means, and sound interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualized person-centered care
* Demonstrated ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care
* Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and organize workload and deliver care with integrity and accountability
* Recent clinical experience relevant to the position, including evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills
