About the Role
Join us in our state-of-the-art Cath Lab, a hub of medical excellence. From Interventional Cardiac procedures to Endovascular work, your work here shapes the future of Cardiology & Vascular Services.
We have two brand new Siemens interventional suites comprising the first ceiling-mounted ARTIS Icono, an icon of innovation. One room set up for interventional cardiology + structural heart & the second room set up for Electrophysiology & Endovascular cases. Supporting the open theatre team with a mobile intervention system, CIOS Alpha.
Your role is dynamic and includes:
* Operating fixed and mobile radiographic equipment to provide optimal imaging.
* Support the administration of alternatives to contrast media such as the use of CO2.
* Supporting the use of other imaging modalities including OCT, IVUS and ultrasound.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills will be necessary to integrate with the Multidisciplinary team.
* Assisting in patient preparation, positioning, setup and clean-up.
* Monitoring radiation doses, maintaining PPE, lab procedures, bi-annual PPE screening and precise record keeping.
* Computer skills related to data entry, documentation of procedures performed including Medicare billing and equipment management.
* Supporting consultants to prepare the patient by locating historical records from the department of health & locally.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring exceptional written and verbal communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
You will also bring:
* Exposure to recent Angiography experience (Cardiac, Radiology, Vascular)
* Relevant qualifications in Bachelor of Medical Imaging / Radiography
* Registration with APHRA is essential
* Registration with the Radiological Council, WA.

Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from Level 1.5 $55.21 – Level 2 P2.1 $61.37 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
