With your skills and experience, you can contribute to the millions of ways we're enriching health, and develop your career as part of the largest health organisation in Australia.

Achieve Something Great
Campbelltown Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to lead clinical education and capability building across the Respiratory/Renal Ward. You'll design, deliver and evaluate education programs in collaboration with Management, Nurse Educators and Clinical Nurse Consultants—promoting best practice and enhancing patient outcomes, including support for patients undergoing inpatient peritoneal dialysis.
You'll provide visible clinical leadership through preceptorship and mentorship, using adult learning principles and varied teaching approaches to build confidence and competence. Your commitment to reflective practice, accountability and maintaining your own clinical expertise will foster a culture of safe, compassionate, evidence‐based care and continuous improvement.
Are You the Right Fit?
You're an experienced clinician‐educator who communicates clearly, builds strong professional relationships and tailors education for nurses with diverse experience and learning needs. Working closely with the management team and clinical leaders, you'll plan, implement and evaluate teaching aligned to operational and strategic priorities—coaching, supporting and developing others to deliver high‐quality patient care.
You model professional integrity and uphold nursing standards, codes of ethics and conduct, and NSW Health expectations—acting when practice is unsafe or unprofessional. Flexible and organised, you balance coordinating education with maintaining your own clinical competence, apply meticulous attention to detail across systems and processes, and implement localised approaches to strategic programs that strengthen a positive, high‐performing workplace culture.

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a post graduate qualification in a relevant clinical field or education post graduate qualification or a combination of education training and clinical experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.
2. Describe your experience in clinical education, including your understanding of competency-based assessment and how you apply adult learning principles when developing and delivering education programs.
3. Provide examples of how you deliver safe, compassionate, and culturally responsive care in your nursing practice.
4. Tell us about a time you communicated effectively within a multidisciplinary team and how you engaged with patients, carers, or families in a respectful and professional manner.
