About the Role
As the Inpatient Allied Health Team Leader, you'll lead high‑quality allied health care within the Acute & Urgent Care program while building your capability in operational systems leadership. Supported by an expanding multidisciplinary team, this role offers a genuine opportunity to step into service governance, discharge systems and service improvement. You'll combine clinical expertise with growing responsibility for how services operate, evolve and improve, making this an ideal next‑step role for an experienced clinician ready to broaden their leadership impact.
Responsibilities
* Lead quality allied health service delivery
* Strengthen planning and discharge processes for complex inpatients
* Develop, review and embed clinical policies and procedures
* Evaluate systems and contribute to service improvements
* Work closely with medical and multidisciplinary leaders
About You
You're an experienced allied health clinician who sees this role as an opportunity to grow into operational and systems leadership. You may bring experience with policies and procedures or be ready to develop these skills with support and mentorship. You're curious, collaborative and motivated to improve patient flow, discharge outcomes and team capability.
Qualifications
* Degree qualification with AHPRA or relevant registration
* Experience in inpatient care and complex discharge planning
* Interest in service governance and systems improvement
* Exposure to policy development or readiness to learn
* Strong communicator who works well across teams
