Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Roles Available
Multiple Aircraft Maintenance Engineer positions are currently available at our organisation, based in Williamtown, NSW. We welcome applications from qualified professionals with expertise in Avionics, Structures, Mechanical or Armament.
Job Summary:
* Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft systems, including hydraulic, environmental, pneumatic, propulsion systems, avionic systems, sheet metal, composite materials and weapon systems.
* Ensure maintenance documentation is authorised and compliant.
* Record work performed and report defects, deficiencies, errors and unserviceability to the Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Mechanical AMEs: Responsible for mechanical systems, related system components and propellers.
2. Avionic AMEs: Maintain, inspect and diagnose faults in avionic systems and components.
3. Structures AME: Responsible for producing, maintaining and repairing sheet metal, bonded and non-metallic composite materials and components.
4. Armament AMEs: Maintain emergency escape systems, egress systems and aircraft weapon systems.
Requirements:
* Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent training (mandatory).
* Australian citizenship and ability to obtain a Federal Government Security Clearance (mandatory).
* Experience working with Defence military aircraft or strong interest in this field.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
