What youll do
An exciting new Dispensary Technician position is available at Cairns Private Hospital. This is permanent full-time position on a rotating roster which includes weekend shifts. As the Dispensary Technician youll be supervised by a qualified pharmacist as you prepare medications and process prescriptions for our valued patients & customers.
* Assist the Pharmacist with the dispensing of medication.
* Remain up to date with PBS legislative requirements impacting the pharmacy/dispensary.
* Strive to provide specialised patient care to our valued patients and customers.

We are seeking someone with the following attributes or experience :
* minimum Certificate II or III in Community Pharmacy
* excellent understanding of PBS and private prescription pricing and processing
* sound understanding of S2 S3 and S4 medications and associated regulationshighly organized and with a strong attention to detail
* excellent customer service skills and able to work well as part of a team
You must be focused on customer service and able to demonstrate enthusiasm energy and excellent communication skills.
It is a mandatory requirement that you provide :
* Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
* A national police check conducted within the last 12 months
