At ASIC, you contribute to delivering a fair, strong and efficient financial system for all Australians.
As a Senior Manager - Health, Safety & Wellbeing, you will set the strategy, partner with leaders and deliver best-practice initiatives that keep our people safe – physically and psychologically – while reducing risk and elevating organisational wellbeing.
* Develop and oversee ASIC's WHS strategy, systems and procedures, maintaining and enhancing the WHS management system.
* Provide expert advice on WHS performance, workers' compensation, injury management and compliance.
The role involves proactive injury prevention, return-to-work plans and risk management. You analyse and report WHS metrics to inform decision-making, reduce risk through targeted education and awareness programmes, stay current with WHS legislation and best practice, benchmark and apply insights on early intervention and employee wellbeing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
You require strong leadership skills to achieve team and organisational goals, ensuring alignment with ASIC values and behaviours. This includes conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions.
