SCCQ are looking for Nurses to join our family at our Illoura Village Residential Aged Care Home in Chinchilla in QLD\'s Western Downs region.
Illoura Village in Chinchilla is our largest Home in the area and is undergoing final stages of a redevelopment and extension which will strengthen its position as the heart of Aged Care and a regional Education and Training hub.
Chinchilla is located in the Western Downs Region of Queensland, less than 2 hours\' drive west of Toowoomba or less than 4 hours from Brisbane. It provides a hub to surrounding towns including Miles, Tara or Taroom.

The role
In this role you will join a team of highly skilled compassionate Nurses in providing excellence in clinical care for our residents. You will work under the leadership of experienced Clinical Leaders to deliver advanced clinical and holistic care. You will provide support and supervision to your team, champion a strong teamwork approach to resident care, liaise with medical practitioners, families and other multidisciplinary team members, ensuring excellence in personalised care. Compassion and empathy accompany your clinical talent, alongside building relationships with residents based on dignity and respect.
What will you bring to the role?
* Current AHPRA Nursing registration
* Strong clinical focus with the ability to provide a high level of holistic support
* Knowledge of chronic conditions, palliative and dementia care (desirable)
* Available to work all shifts
* Dedication to caring for older people to live their best lives

* Strong attention to detail and outstanding communication skills
