Warehouse Team Lead – Wakefield
39.5 hours a week, working Monday to Friday 7pm-3am, with 1 in 3 Sundays. Salary £13.55 per hour plus time-based supplements up to £16.93.
Responsibilities
* Act as the link between supervisors and warehouse staff, providing immediate hands‐on leadership and supervision.
* Ensure maximum effort and attention to detail in a safe and tidy environment.
* Co-ordinate, prioritise and delegate warehouse activities.
* Manage staff hours, sickness and holidays to avoid operational detriment.
* Motivate and develop staff to maximise productivity and efficiency.
* Stand and walk for the majority of the shift; lift up to 15 kg, bend, twist, kneel and crouch.
Qualifications
* Warehouse experience.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Team player.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to prioritise own workload.
