Responsibilities
1. Contribute to and engage in national strategies to manage and improve safety, security, and wellbeing.
2. Provide specialist advice on editorial and broadcast risks, health, wellbeing, ergonomics, psychosocial risks, driving, office-related injuries, and fatigue.
3. Maintain injury management procedures and collaborate with injury and claims management service providers across insurance schemes.
4. Improve return to work programs, act as an internal point of contact, and coach leaders in RTW practices.
5. Partner with business leaders and staff to raise awareness and build accountability for managing health, safety, and wellbeing risks.
6. Conduct safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
7. Monitor and analyze health and safety performance, contributing to the development of interventions based on trends and gap analysis.
Who are you?
* Experience in coordinating safety, wellbeing, and health programs.
* Injury management and RTW program coordination skills.
* Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders across teams and departments.
* Proven track record in health and wellbeing program delivery and risk assessment.
* Vendor management skills, including partnering with insurance providers.
* Proficiency in health and safety software such as MyOSH, SolvInjury, and Google Suite.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Team player with the ability to work in a complex, matrixed environment.
* Sound judgment, problem-solving skills, and high self-motivation with attention to detail.
