The Opportunity

Due to continued growth and evolving operational demands, Stoneware is seeking a dynamic, people-oriented Sales & Operations Manager to support the General Manager and coordinate the activities of our Sales, Production, and Installation teams.

This is a pivotal operational leadership role offering direct influence across key business areas including quoting, scheduling, client service, and workflow management. The role provides an excellent opportunity to build on your leadership and commercial skills in a highly respected, family-owned business.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily operations across quoting, sales, production coordination, scheduling, and installation

Support the Sales & Admin team and ensure timely, accurate quoting and customer updates

Maintain and grow strong relationships with major joinery and cabinetmaking clients

Work closely with the Production and Installation Managers to ensure seamless delivery of projects

Monitor workflow, job costing, delivery performance, and operational KPIs

Oversee customer communication and issue resolution

Assist with staff allocation, HR support, and operational coaching

Contribute to business planning, process improvement, and reporting activities

What We're Looking For

5+ years in a leadership role within stone, joinery, cabinetry, construction, or related manufacturing

Strong experience across operations, estimating, quoting, and scheduling

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams across sales, production, and install

Commercial mindset with proven client relationship and account management skills

Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and team leadership abilities

Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with high attention to detail

Growth mindset and openness to mentoring, learning, and contributing to business improvement
