 
        
        Wellbeing Support Worker Role
We are seeking a dedicated Wellbeing Support Worker to join our vibrant team in Cairns.
This role involves creating joy and connection with residents through various activities and social events. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating engaging activities, connecting residents, and providing emotional support.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in caring for elderly individuals in an aged care or community setting. A Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle or Individual Support (or willingness to complete) is also highly desirable.
A clean driving record and the ability to work collaboratively with the care team are essential requirements of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Foster a sense of belonging among residents through daily interactions and social events.
 * Facilitate activities that cater to the interests of residents, both within and outside the care home.
 * Provide emotional support and assist with daily living needs, including mealtimes and outings.
Requirements:
 * Previous experience in caring for elderly individuals.
 * Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle or Individual Support.
 * Australian driver's licence.
