Sydney Senior Site Manager Position Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Site Manager to join our team in Sydney. This role will assist and supervise all aspects of projects assigned using the Project Management System, including optimising resources, materials, budget awareness and control, coordination of all services to meet timelines, meeting client specification, and quality control in accordance with the company Integrated Management System.
The Senior Site Manager is to support the Project Director by mentoring a small team of site personnel. Assist in the development and implementation of company goals, initiatives, objectives, and strategies. The Senior Site Manager is to participate in and foster client-based networking and Business Development. This role will report to the Project Director.
Senior Site Manager Responsibilities:
* Manage commercial construction sites.
* Assist in planning workloads with limited supervision, set priorities and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* High attention to detail, quality, and accuracy, and the ability to adhere to project specifications and standards.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate others through effective communication.
* Sound knowledge of construction processes, methods, materials, and equipment, and the relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite and other relevant software applications.
* Experience with Procore, Buildlogic or similar Project Management Systems is preferred.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 8+ years of experience managing commercial construction sites.
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
* Construction White Card or the ability to attain.
* First Aid Certificate Level 2 or the ability to attain.
* Certificate III in Workplace Health and Safety or the ability to attain.
