Your new role
As a Senior Regulatory Advisor, you will provide expert advice across operational policy, regulatory frameworks and legislative reform initiatives. You will undertake detailed research and analysis, prepare high‐level briefings and reports, and contribute to projects that support organisational and government priorities.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support consultation activities, identify emerging issues and risks, and assist in delivering strategic policy and project outcomes within agreed timeframes.
This role will suit a strong communicator who is comfortable working in a fast‐paced environment managing competing priorities and sensitive matters.
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience providing advice on policy, legislation or regulatory matters
* Strong research, analytical and written communication capability
* Ability to prepare high‐quality briefings, reports and submissions
* Experience managing projects and coordinating multiple deliverables
* Strong stakeholder engagement and consultation skills
* Ability to interpret complex information and provide practical solutions
* Experience working within a government, regulatory or highly governed environment will be highly regarded
* Immediately available for the duration of the contract (3‐6 month)
* Must be willing for Hays to run an NPC (for the successful candidate only)
