We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in Canberra on a permanent basis. As a Technical Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing and procurement of make-to-order items from external vendors.
* You will analyse specifications and drawings, and source quotes for supply of make-to-order materials and components.
* Communicate with vendors regarding specification and quality issues, following established processes.
In this role, you will work closely with Production Planners to ensure adequate stock levels are held to meet company objectives. You must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and Bills of Materials. A Supply Chain or Engineering degree qualification is required along with experience in international sourcing, procurement, ERP systems, MRP systems etc.
Australia Citizen holder candidates are highly preferred as well
Suitable candidate should have relevant certifications like APICS CSCP CPIM).
