About your opportunity
To provide general chair‐side support to Dental Officers and Oral Health Therapists, ensuring that dental treatment is of the highest standard. Perform other support duties such as maintenance of instruments and equipment, ordering of clinical consumables, and stock control to ensure dental treatment is provided effectively and efficiently.
Requirements
* Certificate III in Dental Assisting is mandatory for the CA3 position. If not completed, appointment will be at CA2 classification in the Dental Assistant Training position until successful completion of the qualification within 12 months of appointment.
* Working across the different clinics in the Townsville region, including potential overnight travel to our Hughenden, Richmond, and Palm Island clinics.
* Possession of a 'C' Class drivers' licence is highly desirable.
* Blue Card Checks: Potential applicants must obtain a 'working with children check' from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position, as required by the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000.
Benefits
* Salary range: $2,624.50 to $2,759.10 p.f (full‐time) or $34.53 to $36.30 p.h (part‐time) (CA3)
* 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%–17.5% loading
* 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
